Interested TEEN contestants (ages 13-18) may download an Application Form from the "Meet Teen DC" portion of this website.
Interested MISS contestants (ages 19-29) may download an Application Form from the "Meet Miss DC" portion of this website.
A complete application file consists of:
-2011 Pageant Application Form & Platform Questionaire Sheet
-Signed Copy of Rules and Regulations Form
-Copy of Birth Certificate (scanned or pdf files only)
-Proof of Residency, Employment or Studies in the Washington, DC area (i.e. copy of ID, utility bill, employment document, academic document)
-Headshot Photo (digital image required)
-$100 application fee (payable online)

AS A 2011 CONTESTANT...
You can have the opportunity to:
- Participate in an exciting Contestant Welcome Event, at which time, you will hear from a few of Washington DC's valuable women leaders on topics such as personal appearance, public service, public speaking and more!
- Participate in Mock Interviews, Photo Shoot Sessions and Stage Rehearsals to prepare for the pageant event!
- Tour Washington, DC along with our current reigning Miss DC International for our Contestant City Tour: events including White House Tour, National Cherry Blossom Festival, DC Public High School service, Senior Citizen Prom, and more!
- Meet new women in your city and network with peers and leaders!
2011 PAGEANT DETAILS...
2011 contestants for Miss DC International and Miss Teen DC International will be judged on the following FOUR categories:
#1. PRIVATE Interview -- 40%
Interviews will be conducted between 5 judges and contestant prior to the Pageant. Each contestant will have 5 minutes with each judge. No political or religious questions allowed. Each contestant will need to have a platform for which she will speak on during her year, if selected Miss DC/Teen DC International. Dress for Interview segment is Business Attire.
#2. Aerobic Wear -- 20%
Each Contestant will wear her own personal choice of aerobic wear, and judged on being physically fit, energetic, and healthy.
#3. Fashion Runway Presentation -- 20%
Each Contestant will wear her own personal choice of fashion wear, and judged on presentation, personality and sense of style.
#4. Evening Wear -- 20%
Each contestant will wear her own personal choice of evening gown. Each contestant will be judged on grace, poise and elegance in Evening Wear.
***There is no TALENT or SWIMSUIT competition.
Additional Awards will be given for the following categories:

*Photogenic Award
*People's Choice Award
*Excellence in Education Award
