Miss Teen DC International, ALEXIS HARVEY, will serve at the DCPS Beautification Day 2010. This annual event was established in 2005 as a citywide “spruce up” of all DC public school buildings in preparation for the first day of school. Beautification efforts will include landscaping, trash pick-up, light painting, planting flowers, and other external beautification efforts.

WORLD MUSIC AND INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL

She will address the 2010 Debutantes with an inspirational charge. The purpose of the cotillion is to provide training and preparation to young girls in the areas of personal, social, spiritual development, and to assist in raising funds for scholarship. This event will culminate with a ball where the debutante and their escorts will have the opportunity to be present to society, their family and friends.
